A custom made prototype robot named Smmearo

The Smearo telepresence robot is a custom made robot made for Siemens Energy. The aim was to explore the possibilities of having an partially autonomous, partially remote-controlled scanning robot at various industrial sites.

The telescopic arm is built onto a Magni AGV. We have created proprietary video-communication software using WebRTC.
